Ms. Perrine received her Master’s degree in counseling and educational psychology, with distinction, from the University of Nevada, Reno and holds a dual licensing as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Josee has experience as a counselor and clinical supervisor, and is the recipient of a Senatorial Award for her work in mental health. She taught a graduate course in Family Interaction at UNR as part of the Human Development and Family Studies program and she specializes in helping victims of domestic violence. Ms. Perrine is author of the book, “The Saber-Tooth Tiger: The One Reason Women Stay with Abusive Men.
