It enables people to learn to change certain aspects of their brainwave activity (EEG). It does so by providing moment-to-moment information to individuals on the state of their brain’s physiological functioning. The information is presented in the form of video and auditory feedback. This feedback sends reward messages back to the client, and promotes the desired change in brain wave activity (EEG). In this way, Neurofeedback improves the brain’s self regulation and effects positive changes in the above conditions.
