Mr. Mertz graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Organizational Psychology from Argosy University and obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. He has been in clinical practice at a local mental health agency since 2022 as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Intern. David recently joined the Sierra Counseling and Neurotherapy practice to complete his internship. He employs an integrative approach to therapy drawing upon Reality Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for treatment of individuals, couples, and families.
